Orangeburg vandalism suspect will be charged as adult

ORANGEBURG - A 16-year-old male charged with breaking into Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School and stealing laptops and televisions will be charged as an adult.

Justin Hubbard of Orangeburg appeared in bond court Wednesday.  According to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, Hubbard and a 14-year old stole the items Sunday night.  They are also accused of damaging 20 offices and classrooms.

Classes were called off Monday while deputies investigated.

Hubbard faces charges of grand larceny, burglary and trespassing.
