Man riding mattress falls out of truck, dies

A 20 year old man has died after he fell out of a truck in Clarendon County.

MANNING, S.C. (AP) -- A 20 year old man has died after he fell out of a truck in Clarendon County.

The South Carolina Highway patrol says the man was riding on a mattress in the bed of a truck when the mattress bounced out of the vehicle onto the road late Sunday afternoon.

The man's name has not been released.

Troopers continue to investigate.
