COLUMBIA (WACH) - Benedict College held their annual athletics award banquet Monday night, but the Tigers were not the only ones collecting hardware; there was a Fox in the mix as well.
WACH Fox's Sports Director Ric Garni accepted the Most Outstanding Media Outlet Award.
More than 100 student-athletes were recognized for their efforts on and off the field.
Nine student-athletes were awarded for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA, while 85 student-athletes were recognized for having a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Other awards were given for athletic excellence, outstanding character, and perserverance through life-altering experiences.
