BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- A Lexington County school bus driver has been charged with driving under the influence after a crash that involved three buses.

Police say 61-year-old Walter Davidson was arrested Thursday after causing the crash at Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School. Police say Davidson's bus hit a parked bus, pushing it into a third bus waiting to pick up students at around 2:30 that afternoon.

Students were on the buses, but authorities say none of them were injured.

It wasn't known if Davidson had an attorney. He has been placed on leave from Lexington School District 3.
