NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WACH) - A North Augusta man was killed in a work related incident Wednesday night.

Cole Kugler, 19, was pinned between two trailers at Southeastern Freight in North Augusta Wednesday and died due to multiple body trauma, according to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton.

Kugler was assisting a fellow employee connect the two trailers when he was trapped. The driver of the freightliner was backing up to the second trailer and thought Kugler was out of the way.

The driver found Kugler's body after exiting the truck.

Kugler was pronounced dead at the scene around 8:30 p.m.

Sheriff's deputies say no charges will be filed.
