HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) -- The new Boeing 787 jetliner will fly over the Harbour Town golf course on Hilton Head Island on Friday during the second round of the RBC Heritage golf tournament.

Boeing is one of the sponsors of the tournament where play begins Thursday.

The Island Packet of Hilton Head reports the new jet will drop to 1,000 feet and fly over the 18th fairway at noon Friday.

Players have been told about the flyover and have been told to pause play.

Boeing opened as $750 million assembly plant to build the new planes in North Charleston last summer.
