(EASTOVER, SC) – Columbia-Richland Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins says a body was found inside a house that burned down in Eastover Sunday afternoon.

"We're unsure as to how the fire started", says Chief Jenkins.  "We're looking at probably around $40,000 worth of damage, and the double-wide is totally destroyed."

The home is located in the 1100 block of Hezekiah rd. Officials say it’s too early to know if the person died as a result of foul play.

The Richland County Coroner's Office identifies the male victim as Paschal Swann.

Investigators are working to determine a cause of the fire.
