Here is your Good Day Columbia GDC Morning WACH for 3-21-12:
Spring has sprung, for sure!! After a perfect day yesterday, Alexis says a partly sunny day is on tap, with a high of 87!!!!!!!!
We were visited today by a 6 foot rabbit, and a few friends that were less than 6 feet tall, along with Leigh Cheatham from Richland County Recreation Commission, talking about the annual Cottontail Festival.
The event takes places on Saturday, March 24 at hthe sesquicentennial Park. Admission to the festival is ony $2 for people 15 and over. For a complete list of the days events, check out the counties WEBSITE.
Want to see the rabbit get out of control with Tyler? Check it out HERE.
How about a job? Need one? Want a new one? Want it to pay $75,000? You might be in luck. Lori Cook from the Richland County Public Library’s Job Center told us that over the next 10 years, there may be as many as 85,000 jobs in the S.T.E.M. field. Check out the details HERE.
As always, GDC is looking for your input! Please send story ideas, if you are in looking for exposure for a community event you are involved with, or would like a cast member to speak at your civic group, school, or activity, EMAIL us! We are part of the community!!
