COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- An attorney who represents three people who say they were molested by a former cadet at The Citadel has filed six lawsuits against the former student, the school and its president.

Mullins McLeod said Monday his clients and their families hope success in court against Louis "Skip" ReVille and the school will help prevent further abuse.

ReVille was a counselor at the military school's summer camp a decade ago. He has been indicted on 22 felony counts of molesting young boys.

One of the lawsuits says college president retired Lt. Gen. John Rosa covered up an abuse complaint against ReVille in 2007. Rosa has said the school should have done more after a camper complained ReVille had molested him.

An attorney for the school did not return a message Monday.
