Columbia police investigating second school bus crash in two days

Columbia police are investigating another crash involving a school bus.

COLLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia police are looking for the driver of a car that collided with a school bus Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. at the corner of Ashley and Middleton Streets.

Authorities say after the crash, the driver ran away. Officers are questioning other passengers inside the car.

A police spokesperson says no one suffered serious injuries in the incident.

Officers are still investigating a deadly head-on collision between a car and school bus that happened Monday.

Investigators have identified the victim  of Monday's crash as 85-year-old Constance Myers.

Officials say she was a passenger in the car that collided with the bus in southeast Columbia.

According to a Richland One spokesperson, five students, a bus driver and an aide went to the hospital with head and neck pain.
