Boil Water Advisory for West Columbia near Rainbow Drive

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) - This advisory has been lifted.  Water service is restored as of 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The City of West Columbia experienced a water line break Tuesday.

A boil water advisory was issued for the affected area at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.

The water line break will affect all water customers in the following areas: Bensmin Drive, Dalewood Drive, Kirkwood Drive, Morningdale Drive, Sandalwood Drive, Shampy Street, the 2800 block of Franklin Street, the 2600 through 2900 block of Rainbow Drive, and the 2800 through 2825 block of Wilton Road. 

When water service is restored, water customers in this area should boil any water to be consumed until further notice.
