A boil water advisory was issued for sections of West Columbia at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) - This advisory has been lifted.  Water service is restored as of 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The City of West Columbia experienced a water line break Monday.

A boil water advisory was issued for the affected area at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The water line break will affect all water customers in the following areas: Barbara Drive, Elizabeth Lane, Pony Hill Road, and the 3100 block through 3800 block of Leaphart Road.

When water service is restored, water customers in this area should boil any water to be consumed until further notice.
