SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -- A North Carolina man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to killing a South Carolina man in a wreck in Spartanburg County.

Twenty-two-year-old Brian O'Neal Robinson of Forest City, N.C., pleaded guilty in Spartanburg on Monday to felony driving under the influence involving a death.

Fifty-one-year-old Larry Weaver of Enoree died Aug. 12 in the wreck on U.S. Highway 221 near Chesnee.

Prosecutors say Weaver was on a motorcycle when he signaled a right turn and was hit from behind by a pickup truck driving by Robinson.

Highway Patrol troopers say Robinson admitted drinking vodka and beer and using marijuana before the wreck.
