COLUMBIA (WACH) - Officials from the animal rights group PETA say they are offering a reward for information about four dogs missing from a Bamberg animal shelter since late November.

Sheriff's deputies say the four pit bull mixes were stolen from the shelter.  Officials worry they may be used in dogfights.

PETA officials say they are adding up to $1,000 to the other rewards for information leading to the safe return of the dogs.

If you have any information about the dogs, call the Bamberg County Sheriff's Office at 803-245-3018.
