CHARLESTON (WACH / AP)—2 days after a narrow victory in Iowa, G-O-P presidential hopeful Mitt Romney plans appearances in the Palmetto State on Thursday and Friday, along with 2 key supporters, leading up to the South Carolina primary on January 21.

The Associated Press reports that Sen. John McCain, who endorsed Romney on Wednesday, along with Governor Nikki Haley will appear together at a rally at the Charles Towne Landing in Charleston on Thursday.  Romney picked up Haley’s endorsement last month.

The 3 will appear together on Friday in Conway at the Peanut Warehouse, which has become a favorite stopping point for candidates.
