PICKENS, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say the body of a hunter who disappeared last weekend in Pickens County has been found in Lake Hartwell.

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelly said 33-year-old Jason Stone's body was found submerged Monday morning.

Kelly says Stone was in a boat hunting with friends early Sunday morning when he disappeared. She says his body was found with his waders full of water. He wasn't wearing a life jacket.

The coroner says it appears Stone drowned and there was no sign of trauma on his body, but she ordered an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.

Kelly says Stone leaves behind five children.
