COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina's Department of Agriculture is offering a chance to win a holiday meal prepared by South Carolina chefs and best-selling cookbook authors Matt Lee and Ted Lee.

The state Agriculture Department says people have until Wednesday to submit their favorite holiday recipes to participate in the contest. Entries must include at least one item from the department's "Certified SC" program that encourages residents to buy food grown and produced in the state.

Five grand prize winners and their guests will be invited to the State Farmers Market Exhibition Kitchen, where the Lee brothers will prepare and serve the prize-winning recipes.

The brothers' "The Lee Bros. Southern Cookbook: Stories and Recipes for Southerners and Would-be Southerners" won a James Beard Foundation Award in 2007.
