Severe storms rolled across the state causing damage from the Upstate to the coast Wednesday night.

Reports of downed trees and power outages seemed to the be most common damage reports for the Midlands. North Carolina had several tornado warnings while York County in South Carolina reported at least four people were killed by a possible tornado.

The severe threat has moved out of the Carolinas and sunshine can be expected by late Thursday afternoon.  Also, temperatures will fall during the down as our wind turns to more of a northerly flow bringing cooler air into the region.
