COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Ever wonder what we look like on the inside? Thanks to a new exhibit at the State Museum you can find out.

BODY WORLDS Vital opens Sunday. The exhibit consists of real human bodies, 14 of them, Organs and systems assembled to teach guests how to best take care of their bodies. The exhibit basically shows visitors the difference in anatomy of healthy and unhealthy bodies.

“Unlike any other exhibit it really reaches out for your heart and for sure you will say I wouldn't take my body for granted,” said Angelina Whalley, creative designer for the exhibit.

One fascinating thing museum visitors will notice about the exhibit is the bodies are placed in athletic poses to show that the body was made for motion and achievement.

BODY WORLDS Vital will be on display for five months at the State Museum.
