ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) -- A 17-year-old has admitted he killed one man and shot two others during separate robberies in York County last year.

The Herald of Rock Hill reports that Brandon Alex Davis of Rock Hill pleaded guilty Thursday to voluntary manslaughter, three counts of attempted murder, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime and criminal conspiracy.

Davis was arrested in October 2010 and charged in a holdup and shooting at the "Trail of Terror" southeast of Rock Hill. A ticket collector on the trail was shot in the shoulder, and bandits took about $1,500.

Several days later, police say Davis shot and killed 23-year-old Anthony Whitlock and wounded Whitlock's uncle at another location.

Davis will be sentenced later.
