Gas prices take a dip in the Midlands

COLUMBIA (WACH)--Average retail gasoline prices in Columbia have fallen 3.4 cents per gallon in the past week.

According to ColumbiaGasPrices.com, this compares with the national average that has fallen 0.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.46 per gallon.

Sunday prices were 65.5 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 5.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has decreased 1.2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 65.5 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
