Lexington County deputies probe fatal shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Lexington County sheriff's deputies say one person has been killed in a shooting.

Investigators said a man was found shot several times on a road just off Interstate 26 near Columbia around 9 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies say they are questioning one person, but no charges have been filed. No motive for the killing has been released.

The name and age of the victim has not been released.
