BJWSA is one of nine utilities nationally to receive the award this year. The utility says the honor is given in recognition of public drinking water systems that exhibit high levels of performance across many categories, including product quality and customer satisfaction.

General manager Ken Griffin says the utility is honored with the award, which he said reflects the authority's commitment to service.
