COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Gamecock Defensive End Melvin Ingram has done it again.  Southeastern Conference officials named him Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row.

Ingram racked up a total 11 tackles, over four tackles for a loss and a career-best 3.5 sacks.  Ingram also intercepted a pass in Saturday's 16-13 loss to Auburn.

The 6'2", 276-pounder from Hamlet, NC is now the conference's leader in sacks.

Ingram has been honored by the SEC a total of three times this season.
