Child found safe after Amber Alert, fatal shooting

GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) - A 2-month-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert after a fatal shooting in Greenwood on Monday evening was found safe.

Officials said Kaybreisha Timpson in a parked car on Merrywood Drive with a man when she was shot to death.

Investigators said that was the last place Timpson's daughter, Nariyaz Keytasia Neal, was seen before the alert was issued for her disappearance.

According to FOX Carolina's Mike Birchfield, Neal was found safe after the man believed to be responsible for the shooting turned himself in to authorities.

Timpson's family told FOX Carolina that Neal was taken by her father and that they were very worried about the girl's safety.

Investigators have not released details about the shooting.
