CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- A new high-tech business center is being dedicated in Charleston.
The Flagship 2 Center has been built in a former television studio in the city and will be dedicated Wednesday by Mayor Joe Riley.
The center is the second in the city and provides small, flexible and affordable office space for start-up companies working in creative and technology industries. The idea is that once the new companies get established, they will move to other locations around town, freeing up space for other start-up companies.
The new center has almost 14,000 square feet of space.
