COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia/Richland Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins says it took more than 40 firefighters to control a house fire Monday afternoon in Northeast Richland County.

What was initially an isolated house fire turned into a neighborhood emergency when the blaze spread to two neighboring houses on Ivy Square Drive.

No injuries were reported.  Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
