COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Lexington County officials say they've taken around $27,000 worth of cocaine off the streets over the weekend.

The Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested 25-year-old Benjamin Jonathan Newman Sunday and seized about 27 ounces of drugs intended for sale.

An undercover investigation led officials to Newman when they say they tried to trade 50 pounds of marijuana for the cocaine.

Deputies also say they found a stolen grill and a utility trailer with ATVs.
