ELGIN (WACH) -- Four arson arrests have been made in a Kershaw County, including one 14-year-old who is a member of the Blaney fire station's youth program.

Forestry Commission officials say 38-year-old Charlene Arrington, 19-year-old Mark Branham and 18-year-old Jacob Eddings helped the teen set fires so he could help crews battle the blazes.

Elgin firefighters called the Forestry Commission after they noticed the teen's urgency to help in their efforts and later connected the three other suspects.
