MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WACH) - Authorities say the man who fell three stories from a Myrtle Beach hotel balcony Saturday has been released from the hospital just a day later.

The man, whose name wasn't released, was taken to the hospital Saturday after falling over the 6th floor railing at the Captain's Quarters Resort on Ocean Boulevard.

According to Myrtle Beach Police, the call came in around 2:30 p.m. in response to a man in his mid-30's falling from the 6th floor down to the 3rd floor.  Police say he landed in a 3rd story flower bed and suffered just a few cuts.

Police say the man told officers he was goofing around and asked for no police involvement.
