RICHLAND COUNTY (WACH) -- Deputies are still searching for five suspects Friday morning who, they say, were involved in a northeast Richland County home invasion and shooting Thursday afternoon.

Officials with the Richland County Sheriff's Department say they were using K9 units and a helicopter to find the black males who were last seen hiding in the woods near Hardscrabble and Clemson roads.  Captain Chris Cowan with the RCSD says two of the men were wearing white tank tops and khaki shorts.

Deputies are urging residents in the area to lock their doors and be on the lookout.

The incident started at 4500 Hardscrabble Road at the Shores at Elders Pond Apartments where two victims were shot, according to authorities.  Officials say their injuries are non-life threatening.
