MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- A North Myrtle Beach man has been charged in a wreck that killed a North Carolina motorcycle rider.
Forty-nine-year-old Rocky Lane Huneycutt of Albemarle, N.C., died Tuesday night after his motorcycle was involved in a crash with a truck in North Myrtle Beach. Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick says Huneycutt died from head and chest injuries at a hospital in Little River.
Sixty-two-year-old Larry Dennis Hardee is charged with felony driving under the influence with a death. Hardee also is charged with failure to yield the right of way.
It wasn't clear if Hardee has a lawyer.
Huneycutt is the second biker to die during the Cruisin' the Coast Spring Bike Rally, which started Friday.
Fifty-four-year-old Robert Wayne Dew of Loris was killed Monday night.
