Columbia (WACH) -- Don`t let the pleasant start to your Monday fool you. This afternoon we`ll likely see scattered thunderstorms developing across the Midlands with highs only in the mid 70s. This time of year we should be in the lower 80s.
Any storms that form this afternoon and into Tuesday pose a threat for hail.
For the back half of the work week and into the weekend temperatures will slowly climb back into the 80s and near 90 degrees. Humidity will also make a return and the threat for heating of the day storms returns to the forecast.
