KERSHAW COUNTY (WACH) -- Two men are shot and one person is behind bars following a shooting in Lugoff.

Kershaw County Investigators say 35 year old Johnny Baker, III was arrested after he allegedly shot two men Saturday night.

Authorities say the shooting happened as the victims drove in front of Baker's house which is located at 434 Rabon Road.

Investigators say the victims were hit in the head by what is believed to be projectiles from a shotgun.

One of the victims was airlifted to a Columbia hospital.

Police say Baker and one of the victims had some type of argument earlier that day.

Baker has an extensive arrest record including a charge for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature against a firefighter in Florida.

Baker is currently being held at the Kershaw County Detention Center charged with two counts of attempted murder.

A bond hearing is set for Monday.

Sheriff Jim Matthews says additional charges will be filed against Baker for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
