Columbia police respond to Gonzales Gardens off Forest Drive.

COLUMBIA-- (WACH) Several Columbia police officers responded to Gonzales Gardens off Forest Drive Wednesday around 7:30 Wednesday night.

Chief Randy Scott says officers were serving an arrest warrant on drug charges, when the suspect resisted arrest.

Chief Scott says the incident was part of a daylong operation Columbia police officers were taking part in.
