Clarendon County (WACH) - Bonnie and Mark McLeod only two weeks away from opening a new barn on their hog farm outside Manning when a severe storm destroyed it.

"We were just doing these new houses which was a big decision for us with the economy, and now this happened," said Bonnie McLeod.

The couple has been making a living in this industry for 10 years.  They recently started upgrading the barns on their five hog farms throughout the area.

"Everything was going good, and we come out this morning, and everything is on the ground," said Mark McLeod.

860 hogs were supposed to live in this barn, estimated damage is $30,000.

"This is how we make a living, so we just ask for prayers," adds Bonnie.

The McLeods didn't have insurance on the barn and are on the hook for the damage.
