Lexington ATM theft using forklift.

LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say the thieves who stole an ATM from outside a Lexington bank may be responsible for as many as four other ATM thefts around the state.
Police say the suspects stole a forklift from a nearby construction site and used it to spear the ATM early Sunday morning, loading it into the back of a pickup truck which was stolen from a nearby apartment. Investigators say it took the thieves less than a minute.
Georgetown County deputies talked to Lexington police about an ATM theft in Pawleys Island that used stolen construction equipment and a stolen pickup. Similar thefts have been reported in Anderson, Greenville and Clemson.
Lexington police say they don't have any suspects in the theft.
