COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The West Columbia chiropractor accused of inappropriately touching patients at his office has now been charged in Columbia.
Police Chief Randy Scott says 51-year-old Ronald Jeffrey Shows has been charged with two additional counts of criminal sexual conduct from alleged assaults that took place in the late 80's when he was practicing in Columbia.
Shows received a $250,000 surety bond at a hearing Friday.
Shows has already been charged in similar assaults of five other patients in West Columbia at his practice located on Leaphart Road.
Shows remains in custody at the Lexington County Detention Center.
Officials urge anyone else with information about potential incidents in which Shows may have acted inappropriately with patients to contact CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
