COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- An Edgefield woman plans to retire early to Edisto Beach after winning $1 million on a South Carolina Lottery scratch off ticket.

Lottery officials said Tuesday the woman bought the Carolina Millionaires Club ticket at a North Augusta convenience store and went to her car to scratch it.

When she saw she won $1 million, she immediately locked her doors, then called her husband and told him they were now out of debt.

The woman told lottery officials she did not want her name released.

Carolina Millionaires Club tickets cost $10 each. Three of the five $1 million prizes have been claimed.
