LEXINGTON (WACH) -- More than a hundred children’s books being donated to school libraries in honor of  teachers; Mary Brooks, Beth Moore and Craig Andrysczyk.  All are teachers of the year in their respective school districts.

Andrysczyk is also among the top five finalists for South Carolina teacher of year.

Teachers say despite the economic blows towards education, their hearts are still with the students.

“We are in the profession for the children and so regardless to what happens to us from the outside and there’s alot happening outside, we keep the students at the center of every decision we make everyday," says Beth Moore.
