COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia Police say a man was shot outside his home Wednesday and a suspect is on the loose.

The shooting happened around 7 a.m. at 1000 Bentley Court in the Bentley at Broad River Apartment Complex.  Police Chief Randy Scott says the victim was fatally shot multiple times.

Officials are asking anyone with information connected to this murder to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
