COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Columbia's city council is integrating social media into a holiday party.

At-Large council members Tameika Isaac Devine and Daniel Rickenmann are hosting a Twitter Party Holiday Drop-In on Wednesday at Houston's Low Country Grill on North Main Street.

Party guests can send messages to their followers on Twitter.com and meet Columbia's at-large council members.

Attendees are also asked to bring items that will be donated to Homeless Helping Homeless including hotel-size shampoo and individually packaged toiletries.
