COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Hundreds of South Carolina fans packed a field on Greene Street Monday to celebrate a yearly tradition.
Tiger Burn is held before every Clemson/South Carolina football game.
The tradition dates back to 1902 when the Gamecock logo was established.
It took workers 35 hours to build the massive tiger made from wood and paper.
The structure burned down in only 10 minutes.
Clemson will hold their "Black Friday" pep rally the day after Thanksgiving when they bury Cocky, USC's mascot.
