COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- A group of women who support Anita Hill's accusations of sexual harassment against then-Supreme Court justice nominee Clarence Thomas are meeting again in Columbia.

The 19th annual "We Believe Anita Hill" party is scheduled for Thursday.

The gathering began in 1992, a year after Hill testified during Thomas' confirmation hearings.

The women say they felt like Hill was treated wrong by lawmakers and vowed not to forget what happened.

Organizers say about 50 women came to the first party. They expect about 300 women for this year's event.

Hill returned to the headlines this week when a voice mail left by Thomas' wife asking Hill to apologize for the accusations became public.
