COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A new license plate is available from the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.
The SCDMV announcing Thursday the availability of a new Breast Cancer Awareness specialty license plate.
The Breast Cancer Awareness license plate costs $70 every two years in addition to the regular motor vehicle registration fee.
Half of the profits from the plate will go to the Department of Health & Environmental Control for breast cancer screening funding. The other half will go to the American Cancer Society for programs for breast cancer patients and caregivers.
