COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) -- This Saturday, the 1400 block of Main Street in downtown Columbia is closed off to vehicles but open to pedestrians wanting to experience the tastes of Italy.
The Italian Festival, sponsored by the local Sons of Italy Lodge 2808, is underway and features stage performances, folks playing bocce ball, great Italian treats and delicacies, and an opportunity to learn about the Italian culture.
Tickets are required for purchase of food, beverages, festival merchandise and some events. Tickets are available at the event.
The Italian Festival will be held until 9:00 p.m. Saturday.
