COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley has released her third ad of the general election season.
The ad titled "Plan" began running Friday on cable and network channels statewide, as well as stations in Savannah and Augusta, Georgia. Her campaign says it's spending nearly $300,000.
In the ad, Haley says she wants to create jobs by lowering taxes and promoting small businesses. Haley has said her top priority for tax reform is eliminating the corporate income tax. Legislators rejected that idea earlier this year, saying the economy is too uncertain.
She has referred to the corporate income tax as the small business tax. But tax officials say most small businesses are set up differently, so ending corporate income taxes won't help them.
