SHAW AIR FORCE BASE (WACH) -- Shaw Air Force Base is holding a wellness expo to give service members and their families a chance to learn about efforts to support their mental health.
Shaw's family readiness chief Roger Gardner says Friday's event will promote good parenting, offer multiple support group memberships, and foster families during all stages before, during and after military deployments.
Gardner says the event will give families a chance to network with agencies on and off the installation that can offer them their support.
The expo is set for 3 to 7 p.m. at the base's community activity center.
