Police: Sunday morning shooting injures one

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia Police are investigating a shooting that sent a woman to the hospital.

The incident happened around 4:00 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the victim was driving with four passengers on Crosshill Road, when a man known only as "Lil' Cam" walked towards the car and shot her in the neck.

The woman was able to pull the vehicle over, and one of the passengers drove her to a nearby hospital.

At this time, the suspect has not been located.

Authorities add that he was last seen spotted heading to Forest Drive.
