COLUMBIA (WACH) - Spend a few minutes outside and you know the Capital City is living up to its slogan, "Famously Hot."

And that famously hot brand is celebrating a milestone.  It's been two years since the branding was given.

The Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports and Tourism hosted a reception Tuesday to help celebrate.

Officials say the slogan is helping to boost the local economy and expect more to come out of it.
